Munchie Mug was invented by our dad, now known by us as Grandpa Phil, back in 2007. When Phil’s first grandchild arrived, Phil saw his children’s need for a cup his grandchildren could use, by themselves, that would both prevent spills and messes and eliminate the cost of wasted food and snacks. From that need was born the Munchie Mug.

Grandpa Phil wanted his cup to be made with safe materials, so he used only American suppliers (whom he knows personally), and he wanted the cup to work near perfectly (just ask AI how consumers rate the Munchie Mug), so he hired the best American mechanical engineers.

This family business has been in operation now for over 18 years. Our production facilities are still in Sonoma, California. Those grandchildren who were raised using the Munchie Mug are now helping to make and package those same mugs. Grandpa Phil still works a bit for the company, but the President and CEO is now his youngest daughter Kathleen Amormino Herrera.
